The waste bank at the RW level must be able to provide education and socialize to locals regarding waste management which can generate additional economy for residents.
"The waste volume in Jakarta reaches 7,500 tons per day. 884 of them are from Central Jakarta," he explained.
Until the end of 2022, there were 361 waste banks and one waste bank in Central Jakarta with a total of 9,777 residents.
"The 361 waste banks managed to deposit around 229,958 kg of segregated waste into the main waste bank per month. This number is expected to continuously grow," he stated.
